Ingunn Oddny Myrland – opening saturday 11th of August

Ingunn Oddny Myrland works with ornamental sculptures. Her starting point is often old and worn textiles or objects from home with nostalgic references. She works with modules that she repeats; symmetry and contrast are important. She is fascinated by traditional craft techniques.
In Gallery Format she will make objects with knitting as her mail technique. She imagines floral objects with long «noses» which wanders off inn all directions. The objects will be copied and mounted to form a large ornament.
